Who we are
TurnTango is checkout software for student housing. Properties use it to schedule move-out checkouts, assign cleaning, inspect apartments and record damage. If you have a question about your data, email braden@turntango.com.
This website
This marketing site doesn’t use analytics, advertising trackers, or tracking cookies. When you book a call, you’re taken to Google Calendar’s booking page, and the details you enter there are handled under Google’s privacy policy.
What the app collects
When a property uses TurnTango, we store:
- Names, email addresses and phone numbers of staff and students, usually from the roster the property imports.
- Which apartment and bed each student lives in, and when they’re moving out.
- Checkout bookings, cleaning tasks, inspection results, and answers to the property’s checkout questions.
- Inspection and damage photos, damage records, and students’ checkout signatures.
How it’s used
Only to run checkout for the property that collected it: scheduling, reminders the property sends, inspections, and the closeout reports the property exports. We don’t sell it, share it for marketing, or use it for advertising.
Who can see it
- Each property’s staff see their own property’s data, and no one else’s.
- Students see their own checkout, tasks and results. Damage photos and signatures are visible only to staff.
- TurnTango may access a property’s data to set it up and to give support.
Data is stored with our hosting provider, Supabase. Emails and text messages are sent through service providers that only receive what’s needed to deliver them.
Keeping and deleting data
We keep a property’s records while it uses TurnTango, so past semesters are on hand for deposit questions. A property can ask us to delete its data at any time. If you’re a student and want your information corrected or removed, contact your property or email braden@turntango.com.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
